Gotta give it up for the coaches and kids of the 2009 Beyer High JV football team. These kids just keep getting better every year!! They ended up 6-3-1 for second place in the MMC [I believe]. Thanks to the coaches for giving their time and their heart to these kids! Once again, Thanks to Mr. Marshall, I have video of every game here. Thanks to Tony Marshall [McKay's dad - our quarterback], I am able to watch every one of Josh’s games after the fact and for years to come. I don’t know how he does such a good job, but he keeps the camera on the game. I have video taped Josh’s games in the past but sometimes I became a spectator and would take video of my shoes or the sky. Or all you could hear was me riding Josh’s ass throughout the game. Yes, I am one of those crazy parents who loves to watch his kid succeed on the field. I have re-encoded all the dvd’s from Tony into streaming video from my site. Go here to see all the 2008 freshman games. We are 7 and 1 right now and undefeated in league with 2 games left.

Beyer wears the red pants and Josh is number 71. Left offensive tackle [offensive is right!]

Hello all,
I haven’t written anything in this blog for quite some time. So I figured I better get up to date. Here is a pic of the bug as she sits today. I haven’t found the money or time to finish the top yet, but this has been the biggest project I have ever undertaken. To paint the thing let alone all the fabrication is something I never thought I’d do. This is taken in front of what I thought was to be the last project I would Superintend for Huff Construction. Prudential California Realty in Turlock. Well, after a couple years as the network admin, it looks as if my Superintendent skills need to be dusted off. Times are tough in construction and we all got to do our part to make it through the tough times……….

I have finished the pan for my “new” 1964 VW convertible. It took a couple months, but here is the finished product…………….. What do you think?

Got the Frame Head Blues?

Well, So did I!! But I decided to get over it and with the direction of a few guys at the shoptalk forums, I went ahead and put a new frame head on my ’64 vert today…………………………………

A couple weeks ago I put new floor pans into the chassis of my vert. It took all weekend, but it went well. the next weekend, I was dis-assembling the front end when I figured out, The Frame Head was bent! I didn’t know what to do, but after some research and some questions, I went for installing a new Frame Head.

Here is a few pics

With the chassis leveled [?] using a laser level and shims, I took umpteen measurments wrote them all down. I then figured out where to cut the frame head to allow the new one from Cip1 to be welded in. After putting out the rust fire in the tunnel last night, I went to bed and thought about this all night…hehehe. I then cut the old frame head out, and tacked in the new one. Proper dimensions and level and square, I welded it all up. I am happy I decided to take it on!!!!
